A nearby map pin is a starting point, not a confirmed appointment. For tailoring, the useful distance is the journey you can repeat for consultation, fitting and collection. This checklist helps you verify a destination without assuming that the nearest listing is the right shop.

Match the business and the address

Compare the shop name, current contact and building address, not just a photograph or review count. Older customer posts can describe a former location. Ask the business to confirm where your consultation will happen and save the reply with the map pin. Avoid choosing a similarly named listing simply because it appears first.

Save a destination card

For Kelly’s current studio, save Floor 18, Beifang Gongye Dasha, 1228 Zhongshan South Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai, China and the Chinese address 上海市黄浦区中山南路1228号 北方工业大厦 18楼. Take the elevator to floor 18. Keep the building name, street number and floor together. A pin at street level does not tell you which floor to visit. These details identify Kelly’s studio, not the fabric market entrance.

Plan the journey twice

Check your route from where you will actually stay and at the time you expect to travel. Then check a second journey for the fitting, rather than assuming one visit will finish the order. If you will change hotels, plan from the second location too. Use current map and station information for transport details; walking time alone does not establish step-free access.

Confirm availability before setting out

Kelly’s studio hours are 09:30–18:00 daily, with walk-ins welcome. Contact Kelly if you need a particular appointment time or have access requirements. Ask about the building entrance and elevator before relying on a route. Keep the shop contact available in case you arrive at the correct street but cannot identify the entrance.

Keep market and studio pins separate

Do not overwrite your studio pin with the market destination. Our fabric-market guide covers that separate visit. Save a simple note: shop, current address, floor, appointment time, contact and next fitting. Before each return visit, check the appointment rather than relying on opening hours alone. A verified destination and workable return journey matter more than a “near me” label.
